  • As a result of rapid student enrollment in recent years, the School of Nursing and the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University have outgrown their current facilities. In order to combine both schools under one roof and create a world-class medical facility, Oakland University is constructing a new Human Health Building. Comprised of five stories and 160,000 s.f., the building is situated on the northwest corner of Oakland University’s 1,441-acre campus and is targeted for completion in 2012. The building will provide state-of-the-art instructional, research and practice space, and will take Oakland University one step closer to achieving its goal of transforming health education and research in southeastern Michigan.
